We've nerfed characters being able to "jump" from body to body for ease, including AI characters like Church, who is stuck in the robot body he arrived in. In the spirit of fairness, it would stand to reason that Tex would not be able to do the same. The additional trouble of managing a human body, which would have no means of storage or regulation, would also interfere logistically.

With that stipulation in mind, it's possible she could technically request a robot body, but would be unable to jump into it, which probably defeats the purpose of requesting it back in the first place.

If her human state gets to be unplayable, however, you would be able to canon update Tex to a point in her CRAU where she is inhabiting a robot body instead. But again, this would essentially be a permanent change unless you felt like canon updating her again.
