Hi there! In order to give a proper answer on this, we'd need a little bit more information about the extent of Jon's connection to the Beholding. Mainly, are Jon's powers tied to his service? If so, then things would have to work a little bit differently.
Generally, higher entities/patrons do not follow characters into LifeAftr, so Jon wouldn't technically need to make an offering to the Beholding. However, if he needs to do so in order to keep his powers, we try to offer alternative means - usually through the use of substitutes, such as Mu or the Storyteller themself. In this particular case, it's likely that we would offer the latter option, with the Storyteller standing in as a patron for allowing Jon to access his powers. (As a note, Just Existing would still be enough to keep said powers, and participating in monthly Storytelling will still earn him favors for Item Requests as per our usual system.)
If Jon wouldn't be amenable to this, or if there's some other detail we've misunderstood, please let us know! We'd be happy to keep discussing options with you.
