Our main query would be: how serious are those injuries? Some sigils are usually imposed upon characters who have certain dietary needs (i.e., feeding on the meat or blood of others) that would risk them devouring other islanders, or characters who are fundamentally technological in nature. Thus far, we haven't had the occasion to impose a sigil on a character to keep them from suffering that sort of fate, but we're willing to discuss the possibility, if desired!
Some characters apped to LifeAftr's setting have been brought in from canon with terminal illnesses or conditions that would be fatal, but have had those conditions "frozen," in a sense, so that they still have to handle the symptoms of their conditions without succumbing to any fatal repercussions - at least, not from said condition.
Characters of that sort who die in-game are still subject to the game's standard death penalties, and are resurrected with the same conditions applied to their bodies. Death will not alter the conditions of their bodies, though canon updating them to a state of health would.
