Please note that Toby's cellphone will suffer water damage upon arrival, and will be inoperable unless it is repaired.

Below is an outline of our suggested nerfs for your character. Keep in mind that you have the option to discuss these with us if you would like changes, and may look to buying back abilities in future:

[ ♆ ] Please be advised that all magic and feats of extraordinary strength on LifeAftr come with an exhaustion caveat; the more they are used, the more tired the user will become until they must "recharge" near a mana pool. This would apply to many of Toby's blood-related abilities. The more powerful abilities she uses and the more often she uses them, the more physically exhausting and taxing they will be to her.

[ ♆ ] We recommend use of a permissions post, for other players to fill out as it pertains to their characters, for the following abilities: Toby's ability to sense memories, perform magic with the blood of others, sensing someone's species or Fae percentage, analyzing or manipulating or breaking another's magic, illusions that may affect other player character perceptions, and the gaining of someone else's powers via blood-drinking.

[ ♆ ] Additionally, any powers that Toby accrues by ingesting another's blood will be limited to three uses per day, each for a maximum of half an hour. Should she attempt to surpass this limit, she will black out and need to "recharge" by a mana pool.

[ ♆ ] Toby's regenerative capabilities will be much slower, dependent on the amount of damage she has taken. A broken bone may take half a day to heal over, a missing limb quite a bit more. However, this will not save her from occurrences that would induce instant death or that her body hasn't been exposed to before, such as decapitation or a magical contaminant. Should the damage she sustains become too immense, she will die and be subject to the same death penalties as anyone else on LifeAftr.

[ ♆ ] Any wards can only be placed for twenty-four hours at a time. After that time period has elapsed, they will have to be re-cast. Additionally, their radius of effect cannot surpass 20 square feet.

[ ♆ ] Toby's abilities to alter other characters' species, bind them to their skins, or reviving the dead with her blood will be nerfed entirely.

Toby will arrive with a knapsack upon which she will find her name embossed with thread. Within, the following items have been supplied:
(1) small sack of sugar
(1) hunting knife
(1) blanket
(1) bar of soap
(1) Stone of Farspeech, whose functions are detailed HERE

Due to your participation in the Test Drive Meme, Toby has been awarded a waterskin full of Shadowdrink!

While this waterskin might not look like much and the light makes it difficult to tell, the liquid contained inside is indeed pitch black. What's more are the unique properties infused into that liquid. The skin comes with no instruction manual, but taking a drink from it will immediately render its effects obvious.

One swallow of the Shadowdrink will make one wholly transparent, shifted out of phase, for a whole hour - including any belongings they have on hand at the time. Temporary ethereality has its own drawbacks and advantages, such as making one harder to see or immune to physical damage - but you'd better hope that you ate before you drank, because you won't be able to until the drink wears off!

The skin contains enough for twenty-four hours of ethereality. Whether you take that all in one gulp or swallow by swallow is up to you. But once you've emptied it, it's gone, and all that you'll have left is an empty waterskin.
