[ ♆ ] Reply to this comment with your character's journal - additionally, please let us know if you're happy for your application to be unscreened. [ ♆ ] Subscribe to and join the following comms:
[ ♆ ] Comment on our Taken Characters page. [ ♆ ] Once you know where your character is living, let us know on our Housing page. [ ♆ ] For IC information on the setting, please ensure you've read the Storyteller's dream post, which should answer a few questions your character may have prior to arrival. [ ♆ ] There will be a catch-all OOC intro post for you to introduce yourself on, if you wish!
In regards to nerfs:
[ ♆ ] As there are relatively few changes between Futaba's current persona and its evolution aside from stats, we are happy for her to eventually evolve it in game; please advise us of this evolution via the Canon Update page should you decide to do so!
[ ♆ ] An exhaustion limit of two hours will apply to continued Persona use, as per your suggestion.
[ ♆ ] Scanning can be used within the current map of the square Futaba is searching; additionally, this ability may be used once per month to provide a rudimentary search result for any square on the map.
[ ♆ ] A permissions post is required for sensing to be used on any player characters. In addition, sensing will only work on bestiary creatures; NPCs are immune.
[ ♆ ] In regards to bond senses, we are happy to leave this development to your discretion; however, please add this ability to Futaba's permission post- permission must be given to track player characters. In addition, this ability will only function on the island Futaba currently occupies.
[ ♆ ] As per your suggestion, passive abilities will be nerfed due to untranslatability to an RP setting.
[ ♆ ] Moral supports will function as per your suggest nerf of 3 per day and 3 person maximum limit. In addition, (Mementos) Scan and Treasure Reboot will be entirely nerfed.
[ ♆ ] Futaba in her UFO that is...part of her soul, should also note that she will not be immune to damage when occupying this space. Initally, her UFO will be capable of hovering, but not movement; this may be upgraded via item request.
[ ♆ ] Lastly, Futaba's phone and headphones will sustain water damage.
Futaba will arrive with a knapsack upon which she will find her name embossed with thread. Within, the following items have been supplied:
(1) Sack of Rice (1) Wood Drill (1) Fishing Line (1) First-Aid Kit (1) Stone of Farspeech, whose functions are detailed HERE
Due to your participation in the Test Drive Meme, Futaba has been awarded a Slaughtermask! Perfect for that Dark Ages tryhard aesthetic.
Despite the mask's unwieldy shape, it contains a few unique properties that may make it worth keeping around. The instructions written on the mask's interior speak clearly as to its merits:
"For one full day, I will shield your face, and none will know you."
As simple as the disguise is, the mask's claim is perfectly true: for twenty-four hours, once the slaughtermask is donned, it will render your character completely unrecognizable to others. Even when they look back, they will not be able to recall anything noteworthy about interactions with you - not your words, not your voice, not your features, not your clothing, and certainly not the odd, sinister mask you were wearing.
The effect only holds true for twenty-four hours, however. While those hours can be broken up into as many small pieces as you'd like, once they are used up, the mask will simply become an old relic of a bygone age.
