In regards to nerfs; Wade's immortality will now have some limitations. Whilst he will still be capable of taking more hits than the average man, instances that would lead to instantaneous death, such as decapitation, will no longer be covered by his healing powers. In addition to this, magical contaminant or other, plot driven deaths may also be applicable.
His healing capability will also be much slower, dependent on the amount of damage he has taken. A broken bone may take half a day to heal over- a missing limb quite a bit more. We are confident in leaving the duration of his healing to your discretion. In regards to Wade's inventory, the following items will be affected by the waters of LifeAftr;
-His teleporter will no longer function. -His holographic watch will work intermittently and for drastically shorter periods of time- though it can still tell the time! -The beam katana has an issue of simply- deciding whether or not to function. Sputtering out intermittently, it may be more a detriment than an asset. -As it has not been noted how much ammo Wade will arrive with, the mods have made a unanimous decision to limit him to 12 bullets. Looks like your ammo bag is in another castle.
Due to your participation in the Test Drive Wade has been awarded an En-Compass; for the directionally challenged.
Thank goodness the casing for this little thing is so sturdy, or it might have gotten bashed open on the rocks long ago. Peculiarly, the needle never appears to point north, or whatever counts for north on LifeAftr - rather, it points the way to a very special part of the island.
The temple of the Storyteller.
The compass proves durable enough to work through most conditions, save those that might be prompted if one tries to disassemble it for parts. It will promptly become a rather useless if pretty mound of glittering gold bolts and screws, and at that point, we certainly hope you've found the Storyteller's temple, because they're the only one who can put Humpty Dumpty back together again.
