In regards to nerfs,Time Dilation and Summoning will not work in LifeAftr. Gravity Manipulation will work to an extent, but the glyph that allows for vertical scaling of structures will not function. Finally, Weiss will find that using glyphs in rapid succession will weaken their effectiveness, which can only be restored by allowing them cooldown periods between uses -- the more powerful the technique, the greater the cooldown before it is fully effective again. Due to your participation in the Test Drive Meme, Weiss has been awarded a... jar of beads? There's nothing useful about a jar of beads.
...is there?
There is, in fact. Each of these special beads appears to have a small insignia printed across the outside in red ink, in the shape of a tongue of flame. The instructions on the back are brief, but to the point:
"Strike to light."
Which is, indeed, exactly what these beads do. A sharp impact will generate a small burst of flame that will last for a good while - even longer, if you can find reasonable fuel to keep it burning for a while yet. Each bead crumbles to ash upon use, but the jar is stocked with a good twenty to thirty or so.

So use them wisely.
