[ ♆ ] For IC information on the setting, please ensure you've read the Storyteller's dream post, which should answer a few questions your character may have prior to arrival.
[ ♆ ] There will be a catch-all OOC intro post for you to introduce yourself on, if you wish!

Foster's cloak of death will count as one of this two companions, limiting his capacity for undead creations to one at a time.

In regards to nerfs:

[ ♆ ] Please be advised that all magic and feats of extraordinary strength on LifeAftr come with an exhaustion caveat; the more they are used, the more tired the user will become until they must "recharge" near a mana pool.

[ ♆ ] Per your suggestion and the aforementioned stipulation, Foster will be capable of raising only one undead creature. It may be no larger than a dog in size, and he will be unable to raise himself. In the event of his death, he will be subject to the same penalties as any other.

[ ♆ ] Ritual spells require time to arrange and will use spell slots, starting at five. Foster will be able to gain more slots via Item Requests. In the event that he comes up with a spell he'd like to "try," mod discussion will be required to allow for appropriate nerfing. A permissions post will be required for spells that affect other characters, and any new ability he acquires will need to be available on his journal somewhere.

[ ♆ ] Foster's memory spell will likewise require a permissions post for the courtesy of other players. Additionally, he will only be able to perform it three times per day.

[ ♆ ] Per your suggestion, Foster will only be capable of his transformation for up to one hour every twenty-four. His power of flight will be somewhat reduced. Flight will come easily to Foster in areas of the map that have already been explored. For those that have not, however, gravity will be particularly fickle. The higher he goes and the more unfamiliar the landscape is, the harder flight will be. He can retain use of his flight for gliding and boosting his jumping, but actual flight will become difficult in unexplored areas.

Foster will arrive with a knapsack upon which he will find his name embossed with thread. Within, the following items have been supplied:
(1) coconut
(1) wood saw
(1) spool of fishing line
(1) toothbrush
(1) Stone of Farspeech, whose functions are detailed HERE

Due to your participation in the Test Drive Meme, Foster has been awarded a Slaughtermask! Perfect for that Dark Ages tryhard aesthetic.

Despite the mask's unwieldy shape, it contains a few unique properties that may make it worth keeping around. The instructions written on the mask's interior speak clearly as to its merits:

"For one full day, I will shield your face, and none will know you."

As simple as the disguise is, the mask's claim is perfectly true: for twenty-four hours, once the slaughtermask is donned, it will render your character completely unrecognizable to others. Even when they look back, they will not be able to recall anything noteworthy about interactions with you - not your words, not your voice, not your features, not your clothing, and certainly not the odd, sinister mask you were wearing.

The effect only holds true for twenty-four hours, however. While those hours can be broken up into as many small pieces as you'd like, once they are used up, the mask will simply become an old relic of a bygone age.
